Ruffian Games is hiring engineers to help them work on multiple unspecified titles for Rockstar Games.
Ruffian Games is known for developing Crackdown 2 back in 2010 as well as helping other studios with multiple Kinect titles like Kinect Star Wars, Kinect Sports Rivals, Nike+ Kinect Training. Their recent works also include adding Halo Reach to The Master Chief Collection and developing the 5v5 multiplayer mode of Crackdown 3.
The British studio which is located in Dundee, Scotland, has also made an original co-operative multiplayer twin-stick shooter called Fragmental. They certainly know their ways around and they’re open to any kind of work you ask them to do.
They are currently looking for multiple vacancies including Senior Engineer, UI Engineer, Systems Engineer, Graphics Engineer, Gameplay Script Engineer, Senior Graphics Engineer, and others. The interesting part is that the job offer clearly says they want someone with “generalized experience in multiplayer action games developed for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and future platforms,” and this means the project might be cross-gen or even exclusive to next-gen consoles.
As to what those games are it shouldn’t really be that hard to guess. Rockstar Games is rumored to be working on a sequel to Bully for a while now but it could also be the next generation of Grand Theft Auto, or even Manhunt or Max Payne. What we really hope is that it’s not only for bringing Rockstar Games’ old titles to new platforms.

Whatever the unannounced projects are, something tells us we won’t hear about them for a long time because Rockstar Games likes to keep their mouth tight until the game is close to release. Make sure you follow us on Twitter and share your guesses as to what the project might be. Are you even excited about the news or you prefer some other company to work with Rockstar?
